Petition to Allow Employees in Maryland to Work from Home

Update March 23 at 2pm: Governor Hogan ordered this morning that all non-essential businesses in Maryland close due to coronavirus outbreak.

Several Our Revolution Maryland activists have reported that employees, who could work productively from home, are being required to report to their workplace. This increases their risk of contracting the coronavirus and ultimately jeopardizes all of us. In response, we are petitioning Governor Hogan for an executive order allowing Maryland-based employees to work from home unless their physical presence is required. Maryland Progressive Healthcare Coalition, Progressive Democrats of America – Maryland, and Greater Baltimore DSA, are co-sponsors.

We posted the petition Tuesday March 17. So far 380 people have signed. Please join us if you haven’t already by clicking here.
