In early June, Our Revolution Maryland announced the certification of its newest chapter in Anne Arundel County. Interim Co-Chairs are Dan Piper and Clayton Northcraft.
Dan is a veteran of an early iteration of the Anne Arundel Chapter which he co-led when it met on a few occasions in 2017 and early 2018. Clayton just recently joined the Our Revolution team.
Certification as a chapter was based on the continuing involvement since April of dedicated Anne Arundel residents. At the June 2 meeting, 12 committed activists came and requested certification. Ten participated in the May meeting.

On June 2, Sierra Club Maryland’s Matt Dernoga reported on his organization’s Beyond Coal campaign and the ways coal is exacerbating climate change.
